Eligible FSA Expenses

You can use your account to pay for a variety of healthcare products and services for you, your spouse, and your dependents.  The IRS determines which expenses are eligible for reimbursement.   If in doubt of what products and services are eligible, it is recommended that you check with your Employer's Benefits Administrator. and/or tax professional.

Massage Therapy (for treatment of a medical condition)

Massage therapy is eligible for FSA & HSA reimbursement with a detailed receipt and a Letter of Medical Necessity signed by your doctor.  The Letter of Medical Necessity typically needs to be renewed each year.  Tips are not eligible for reimbursement and may not be charged to your FSA or HSA card.

Prescription/Letter of Referral

We offer a blank prescription form.

Email and we will email you the form to print out and take to your doctor.

Keep Receipts

 A good rule of thumb is to keep receipts and other supporting documentation related to your expenses.  The IRS may request itemized receipts to verify select expenses.  A Touch of Wellness provides receipts for this purpose
